Miniature Longcase Rocking Ship Clock by Sinclair Harding.

Made by one of the last great english clock makers working in a traditional manner. This miniature longcase has an eight day weight driven movement with an automaton rocking ship in the top arch of the dial (see video).

The case is made of Honduran mahogany with box stringing. Doric columns flanking the the dial door, with highly polished dial and cherub spandrels. A silver chapter ring with subsidiary seconds and, with finely cut blued steel hands.
